When Navy SEALs rescued an American from Somali pirates, President Obama said,“This is yet another message to the world that the United States of America will stand strongly against any threats to our people.” Even conservatives agree with this statement.
So why do conservatives think it’s OK to spend taxpayer money to save Americans threatened by pirates but not to provide health care for Americans threatened by disease?

INSURANCE or WHO will pay for health care is not the problem.
The medical care industry is hooked to third party payments like a junky on crack. Everyone involved from doctors, clerks, techs, suppliers ,pharma etc are hooked to excessive fees and reimbursements like a junky on crack. The current exploited and abused system has lined the pockets of many including the doctors/hospitals or the clerks and bandage manufacturers.
COSTS, NOT insurance or lack of is the problem.
