HMSA of Hawaii has just certified the Catalis Accelerator Graphical Health record as an approved vendor for Hawiian physicians. Accelerator is a wireless tablet PC built from the ground up for mobility and interoperability. The system works with patient management systems to import patient records, uses a graphical interface to diagnose and record in natural language the patient diagnosis, creates billing information based on the diagnosis, tracks lab work, creates and orders prescriptions. HMSA is the largest provider of health care coverage in Hawaii.
