i used hr block online software for 2005 preperation and recieved a letter today that states i did not file a 1099 .i did enter my 1099 wheni entered my tax data and cant understand wht happened

did you ask them to send you copies of the work you did online after you were done or just save the information on the pc? Try going to HR Block.com , or even stop by an office and see if an online representative can get you a copy.

When I called, I was told it will start on the fifteenth. It's not going to be the same thing they offered last year, though, according to what the representative said, but it will be similar.

This is the last time for me to go to H & R Block. They quote you a price and if you have to go back for something, it gets higher. Also they have charges on there to get most of your return. They don't want to send it direct deposit. They want it to go through them so they can get a big cut out of it. I am so displeased with them, and have heard alot of people say that also. I will be taking my taxes elsewhere next year. We signed more papers thru them, then on a bank loan.
