What is the effect of May 2nd tax break with emerald clients?

I have a emerald card with HR Block. Is my money going to be transfer electronically, or am I having to wait for the May 16th date for a paper check distributions?

Thankfully in my opinion your rebate will be sent to you by check. It depends on the last 2 digits of your ss# when your check will be sent out. Glad mine is one of the first paper checks to be sent out on May 9th!!:-)

Hold on a second, If you recieved an Emerald card but DID NOT recive a loan product from us, then the rebate will be loaded onto that Emerald Card. If you DID receive a loan product from us, then you will recieve a paper check depending on your last 2 of your social.

Well Ray is RIGHT. I just spoke with HR Block. If you Filed RAL way..Refund Anticipation LoAn your check WILL BE MAILED..Which really sucks big time !!!!

I am not sure what you mean by loan payment, I filed my taxes, he advised me of what my return would be and asked did I want it on a emerald card or direct deposit.

How fast did you recieve your refund, was it 1-2 days, was it 8-15 days, did you pay Block's fees upfront. Answer these questions and I can pinpoint where your ESP payment will most likely be going.

Ok Ray, here is my question. My husband and I filed and we got our refund direct deposited to the card in 16 days. Our fees were taken out of our State return, not the federal, so I am trying to figure out if it will be direct deposit or paper check. Any help or advice would be great. Thanks

I have some new information for everyone. I went to the IRS website, irs.gov . Once you get here go to the "Where's my refund?" There is a link to "where's
my stimulus?" You will need the SSN, filing status and number of dependents. It tells you that information on your stimulus payment will be available about a week before your payment is scheduled to be issued. Unfortunately this means I am getting a paper check in June, but good luck to all of you!
