H&R Block Shuts Its Option One Subprime-Mortgage Unit, Fires 620 Employees

H&R Block Inc., the biggest U.S. tax preparer, shut its subprime home lending unit after an agreement to sell Option One Mortgage Corp.

If these people weren't so inept, they might have actually had a business rather than a joke. Qualifications for a broker peddling Option One subprime loans; 1. must have no marketable skills
2. must have an IQ comparable to an average mollusk 3. must be able to lie,distort,and misrepresent the pathetic products they are selling. 4. must be so dumb as to actually think that wealthy, successful people got that way by lying and cheating.

I've also, had many problems with Option One, I made all my payments on time and they still foreclosed. They lost Feb payment and would not acknowledge it and charged me late, placed it on my credit report, and I can't even get a lawyer to help me, because they don't know what to do. I'n frustrated because I want to keep my home of 20 years and don't know where to turn.
