i find it funny that we have to wait cause of our social security number why can't they mail them all at once this is the irs's way of making people needing the money really bad cause of rising gas prices and food prices they have to wait all the way until july that is bull crap mine was suppose to be direct deposited today my number ends in 78 and finally found out that i used turbotax and now i have to wait for a paper check well i contactefd the place that set a banka ccount for my tax refund to be setn to and they told me since my tax refund was direct deposited to them they would probably get my tax rebate as well and thy would put it in my account well i hope they don't cause since then that bank account has been closed so i hope they send a papercheck if not ill be waiting longer cause the irs will have to wait for a paper saying the account was closed and then reissue a paper check so i hope everyone is not spending there hard earned money they were saving cause you will be screwed

SPREADIN' FEAR Ahhh, learn something new everyday!! I did not know the Dems authored the bill! But, that would explain why I only got $55.35 out of the $600.00, based on my 2007 income. Thanks for giving me $600.00 and taxing me for $545.00 of it!! I don't doubt you at all that it was a Dem authored bill!! WE NEED CHANGE !!

Having just completed the so-called "tax season" at one of the big(not H&R)companies, I can tell you that we not only discouraged refund anticipation loans and explained the interest rates involved, but also did not financially benefit from these loans directly. The money goes to the lending bank. It does not go to the preparer or the local office. Other than possibly enticing more people to file early because they need their refund fast there is no financial incentive for the preparer. Also, I am confused about this idea that H&R BLock would have given anticipation loans based on the stimulus check. That check is separate from the regular tax refund.

If you didn't pay more than $600 in taxes per person you will not get the full $600 stimulus check. The feds never said up to $600. Its a scam and should of known this before we made plans for the money. How sad.

Your government should had check with their banker first (CHINA) before offering this hand out to the needy mass. Problem is your government has borrow over their credit limit,
so we had to pull the plug. I guess our oil rich Arab friends have also make their point clear to your leader begging for more oil : Pay the price or walk. Walking or bicycling will be good for your overweight population. Look at us Chinese, we are slim and fit,, and rich also.
