Look at the Naples connection between the hospital and Avatar. This deal goes a lot deeper than most see.
Shipley supports Osceola Regional. Now, there's a no brainer. Isn't he also related to their board?

In 2006 HMA opposes a hospital in Poinciana constructed by HCA. 2007....let's build a hospital! Has anyone looked at the way St.Cloud hospital, an HMA hospital is run? Obviously HMA is not invested in that community!

Yeah Shipley is in tight with the CEO at Osceola, so? Maybe it's the 35+ years that hospital has contributed to the tax base of the community, unlike HMA. By the way....Florida Celebration and Florida Kissimmee are NOT contributing to our tax base either as they are non-profit.

PS- Check the history of HMA with the Latino community. There was a class action lawsuit againt HMA by LAMB, for unfair billing practices against the uninsured Latinos. Now they want a hospital in Poinciana of all places! It's laughable.
