Well one Hilton with some morals , didn't think there was such a thing . I'm sure Grandpa's left over 3% will keep the family in condoms and booze for quite a few years to come.

If one were to look at the details he would inevitably find that the money Hilton is said to have given is money on which he had never paid any tax and which is sheltering money on which he mistakenly did. You and I are giving the money for Hilton's "charity" because we did pay taxes.

This is the America ehich lets 40 million of its citizens live without health insurance.

He is leaving this money so that his heirs benefit from the tax break he would get. He is not a billionaire for nothing. His girls will be just fine.

from most of these post's i can gather that most of you are either shut in's or locked up some where. paris hilton has made millions of dollars on her own for many years. her grandfather in fact took sued the catholic church many years ago when his father died. while you are sitting there doing absolutely nothing with your lives, do some research and remember when you wish harm on others, it comes back to you.

what?!? that is probably the highest proportion that has ever had health insurance. since when was it included in the Bill of Rights that the gov't provide health insurance? go get a job you lazy bum. Ins has always been a benefit offered by employers, now everyone assumes it's a god given right.

countries with govt provided insurance have very high tax rate to pay for it (of course) and end up with crappy care. ask most europeans, if they have any money they go to private doctors. the "free" ones are terrible and you wait forever to see one. the govt isn't efficient in running anything, it would be a disaster for it to provide healthcare.

To Tribune Editor:
I understand the Hilton family settled first near Fort Dodge, Iowa, on a farm when they first came here from Norway and had a name that largely cannot be pronounced. Am I right about that. Thanks

I am very impressed. This does not seem like a vanity charity but a charity that helps the truly impoverished or, in the case of the charity's support for Tostan, the oppressed and exploited.

Daily Horoscope for January 7

Sagittarius

If you have any worries or problems today, a close colleague could have the answers you seek. Work will be satisfying, and anything to do with children should be very rewarding today. There could be friction with a relative, but it's nothing serious and things will sort themselves out in due course. Again, you must pay attention to your health, Saggitarius: skin infections are a strong possibility at the moment.
