Is the recession effecting anyone who work's for the Hilton company yet?

[Sad to say]

Instead of addressing change with an eye towards the future, Blackstone and the new management of Hilton are dismantling what was once a great company lead by "True Leaders" of the hospitality industry. In the past couple of months Blackstone has effectively eliminated what could equate to be hundreds of years of knowledge, experience and talent. The disturbing part of this equation is there appears to be, for the most part, no rhyme or reason of how Management is selecting who stays or goes.

The people who remain are walking around with a "deer in the headlights" expression on their faces, not knowing where to turn too or who they can trust to lead them out of the path of an oncoming truck. Unless that "truck" changes path, it is going to hit the company and leave it in little pieces on the side of the road. Families will be destroyed, customer satisfaction will suffer, and visions of the future will fade away. Eventually, someone will come along and salvage what remains, and then discard what is left. The only "survivor" who avoids total obliteration will be the Blackstone.....
