Fossett widow will be billed for search costs

There is no precedent where government will go after people for costs just because they have money to pay for it. You get lost, and we look for you. It is a service your taxpayer dollars pay for. That's ludicrous. Does every family get billed for a search for their loved ones? Or only those with a whole lot of money?

i could go along with the idea, but he was flying, theres a diference from that to walking out in the desert getting lost with no supplies, and the taxpayer has to pay to find ya, now them people should be charge,$ and also charged with stupidity. but theres no law for that yet ??
