Notice how they tell and make demands of management and non-union employees; yet, when it comes to union members, they realize thay will have to sit down and negotiate everything.
As usual, non-union folks are considered as and treated like dirt bags.
And management everywhere wants you to believe that you don't need to join a union for job protection. PULEEZE!

There is more to this story.I signed off at fox vally publications in Plainfield which is owned by the sun times and was closed last fri.All of us were told we would get a severance package if we stayed to the end.Now we are told we will get nothing.They knew it all along and dragged their feet with our paperwork just so we would stay and then they screwed us.They are corrupt lyers and I hope noone buys that paper ever again.
