I guess if you don't own the view before you call your building The Vue, you can always go to City Hall and get them to stop your competitors.

The City Council really knows its stuff when it comes to downtown planning. Step 1: woo private developers with taxpayer money. Step 2: Shut out anybody competing with Buddy's pals using zoning laws. Step 3: maintain smug, arrogant attitude as if your corrupt planning policies haven't made Orlando the worst of the condo-bust cities. Step 4: Place arbitrary limitations on anybody who might add value to downtown.

It pays to be on Buddy's list of approved friends.

The building in question was designed to be the same height as the VUE, air traffic control regulates the height, hence the tallest building is only 440', sun trust
