Two of eight people accused in lawsuits of illegally distributing Dungeons & Dragons handbooks over the Internet have settled, and the maker of the popular role-playing game is seeking a default judgment against a third.

The two men who created the original version of the Role Playing Game, Dungeons & Dragons, were not obsessed with it like many of those who have played it in times since.

Some have been so obsessed with the game that it controlled their lives and their spirituality.

I am not referring to the urban rumors about D&D; I am referring to people whom I have personally known.
