What if Afghanistan is Not Another Vietnam?
"Generals always fight the last war," goes the cliche. After listening to current public debate over Afghanistan policy, and the recurring invocation of America's Vietnam experience, perhaps that might be updated to something like: "Anti-war activists always fight the last war?" Of course, any war could become another Vietnam.

hopefully it wont be another V/N..... but its always scary when dems are in charge, when was their last war victory? they were in power for viet-nam, they say we lost, alqeada war started against us under clinton, korea was dem led too i believe, and its still on, in a cease fire, but they were successful with ww-2...but that wasnt the neo-dems, now it is the neo-dems..... what did the prez mean when he said he will defeat the taliban? define defeat please
