State, federal grants improve Capitola streets

The city is putting state and federal money to work to improve city streets. A $590,000 project to resurface 38th Avenue from Brommer Street to Capitola Road is slated for spring, according to Public Works Director Steve Jesberg.

and we thought only berry swindler could do the large projects this goes to show that the KKKapitola KKKouncil can vote for oithe contractors to do work in our city.

Obama is in China with his hand out for more money, back home here we're re paving our streets ... this is insanity. America is bust, we can never repay the $12 trillion +++
Stimulus spending ?? on new streets ? what about building a factory?

Yeah, a factory in Capitola would be great. what?

By the way, the sidewalk project on Bay Avenue really messed up the front yard of a couple who takes pride in their home and its landscape. They had to pay out of their own pockets to correct the ugliness built by the cut-rate construction company who did the work.

At least someone else sees Berry Swindeler for what he is. Someone should look into wether he is actually paying his workers the privailing rate, which by the way is what he is charging the city for on his public jobs.If he does any. And for that matter maybe the private sector might want to check just how much he charges for labor but might not be actually paying it. any citizen can request a certified payroll. Of public jobs.
