Thumbs Up to Nebraska for being the someone to finally call Goodyear out on their "interpretation" of or " understanding" of wording! To bad the whole stupid law suit and lawyers probably cost the company more than the original 14,000 + but I guess the shareholders will excuse that too amongst the paperwork in its interpretation and wording of somehow being a guise of global competition. Never mind GT never hired the additional people it said it would and I think you were only talking about around 30?

Oh, well...tis a small victory and of little consequence ,I suppose. Let us all look forward to the projected 92 million in compensation by 2011 to be paid out from the expiring package in the next couple of months which is why corporate was pushing the new proposals....wow! and add that onto the 92 million.....hmmmmph! affording compensation like that is really putting this global thing in full swing. Guess they need to really fire a lot more workers and cut more beneies....I know, blame the union, oops! we'll all be gone...and uh oh.... no workers, no product, no money for shareholders..... but at least the paperwork says the corporate guys get to keep everything and its all legal as long as in their minds, they acted for the good of the company.... LOL! Great interpretation!( It's what you get when your number one lawyer gets compensation too)

Three Cheers to the Supreme Court in Nebraska. Goodyear squabbling over tax money and giving greed and blood money to their CEO's in the millions.

Hmmm, run on sentences galore. That's why God gave us punctuation.
