when are these clowns going to build where the northland mall was. they said they were years ago and the only disgusting building i have to look at is the state dept of taxation. its a money generator, just not to the community. i would love to see the polaris area turned into a tumble weed community just like we were left with.

I took a walk through Eastland yesterday and was happy to see that it looked clean and thriving--with a fair number of shoppers on a weekday afternoon.

Westland Mall now looks like a warzone. Perhaps the casino going over in that area will help.....or will it? Only time will tell.

I think its an issue of things there are so bad, it couldn't possibly hurt! I am not big on Casinos. But, Given that we are going to have them anyway, apparently, I would much rather put it out there and spur some growth of the surrounding area (restaurants, hotels/motels, etc) than to dump it in the arena district--which despite the sports presence still has a very artsy and neighborhood sort of atmosphere.

I'd like to see a mall come to Grove City, they are a thriving community. It would be good for the sw side of town.
