I used wowcher and got 14 day manicure set.
It arrived within 3 days of placing the order, colours are lighter than the picture but are nice. I did my nails 5 days ago and they still look good.

Would recomend

Please let me know if you are proceeding because I want to do the same I had exactly the same experience with mr carter and they just blame me for not being able to use their products properly. The products are sub standard and their customer service is absolutely appalling. I would warn anyone away from them

DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE!!
In my experience this kit has ruined my nails! I bought it from Groupon and was expecting great things - including a '14 day manicure' as it promised.
After the polish taking hours to cure (!) and many attempts to perfect the technique I had a 'manicure'(if you can call it that) for a maximum of 48 hours.
Once on, it is then impossible to remove! Having bought numerous kinds of remover (designed for this stuff) it just wouldn't shift.
Having contacted Groupon and requesting a refund they told me that I'd need to return the goods to Millenium Nails.
I contacted Millenium Nails on the email address Groupon gave me - my 4 emails were ignored.
I called Millenium Nails and was greeted by an extremely rude and ignorant man.
I contact Groupon and explained the problem - they emailed them - but nothing.
I then called Millenium Nails again and spoke to a lady who informed me that Groupon had given me the wrong email address.
I then emailed Millenium Nails at the right email address and was told that as I tried the products that they would not accept a return and would not give me a refund.
IT IS YOUR STATUTORY RIGHT TO HAVE A 'REASONABLE' AMOUNT OF TIME TO TEST A PRODUCT TO ENSURE IT'S:
A) Fit for Purpose
B) of suitable quality
C) As described
The products I received from them were none of the above.
These people feel above the law because they're trying to skirt around not giving their money back by saying 'once opened you can't return'. This is completely against your statutory rights.
I've been in contact with the managing director (Alan Carter). I've found him equally as unprofessional.
I'm now starting County Court proceedings to get my money back, plus cost of legal advice, interest and court fees.

I am in the process of taking them to court as we speak (if they do not respond).

Could you email me your experience to [email protected]?

From what you've written I must say that my experience is a carbon copy of your own.

Dire attitudes and complete lack of customer service. They've been wholly obstructive and extremely rude and unprofessional when dealing with me.

They left me no choice but to pursue other routes to obtaining settlement.

They seem to feel completely above the law and strangely feel that dogmatically insisting that all of the complaints on here must be ill-founded. Surely we wouldn't waste our time on here if the products were exactly as described, fit for purpose and of any kind of quality.

I wish you all the luck in getting your issue sorted. If I can help you with how I've started to pursue them then just email me and I'll let you know how to too.

No defence of the levels of customer service speaks volumes

There may be happy customers however the way in which unhappy ones are dealt with is in my opinion incredibly poor. How can any customer focused organisation just dismiss a complaint continually blaming the inability of the user.

One thing I am delighted to see, is the corporate response by this company. It says a whole lot more about who you may be dealing with than I ever could.

Oh and ps as they are the professionals someone tell them it's nail technician not nail technition

Thanks to Louise I will be in touch

'Derogative'( hilarious- no such word)- derogatory
'We know who you are' and are 'watching'(creepy!)
'Vigirously'- vigourously
'Slandour'- slander
'Technition' technician...
...and millennium nails imply that the customers lack intelligence by not being able to follow instructions!

I have had the misfortune of having to deal with the rude and aggressive people at millennium nails also. They are akin to fawlty towers minus the laughter. Having read their response I don't know whether to laugh at the state of it, or weep that these fools are allowed to continue in business making money via groupon who should, and do know how customers have been treated.

Fab Company - Helpful Staff - Great Product. I bought my kit from Groupon with the discount voucher :)
I received help on the phone ordering as I had problems at checkout and with my choice of Polishes. The Kit arrived within 7 days and it does exactly what it should - however I did have a few try,s before I got it right - I am Delighted.
I find it Amusing that People have time to write silly posts on the Groupon Topix page, but people like that are a far and few between.
I am a Very Happy Customer.

Received my kit yesterday. Just painted my nails and I'm thrilled with the results! My nails aren't perfect, but that's due to me learning and nothing to do with the kit. I was really worried after reading these reviews as ordered it through groupon before I read them but I'm relieved that all is ok. Arrived in just over a week (with bank hol in between) and is really easy to use. Fingers crossed it stays on ok!!

Thank you so much for the help you've given me. See, I was debating over whether to purchase products from you or not. This post accompanied with the one "excellent" post has shown me what a hideous company you are. You can't even spell let alone use capital letters correctly. Threatening your customers, posting fake good reviews (obvious from your grammar patrern by the way) and pretending it's your customers who are at fault...
So yes, thank you for saving me my money and being so blatant in your pathetic attempt to redeem yourself. Do us all a favour and stop this ridiculous facade.

I have not found this company helpful at all. I bought the soak off gel nail polishes via groupon and have found that they have peeled off every time that I have tried to apply them within 1-3 days, which is now more than 8 times. I phoned and was told to email. I have now emailed on numerous occasions and am not at all happy with the responses that I am receiving. They are totally unhelpful and on the point of being rude.
I have complained to Groupon who are looking into it for me.
I would not purchase anything from this company again.

I bought groupon offer and when I plugged my uv lamp in it blew all the lights and fused itself! I did however find them helpful and they repaired it within three days and sent it back to me. Although I am still awaiting my postage costs.
Mail varnish however does peel off.
If i
U bought this package for just 79.00 then it is good offer for lamp remover and cleanser alone. Could just try and buy other polishes else where.

To those of you having trouble, I've done a bit of research on line and have found that it helps if you buff your nails first to make them a bit rougher. Mine have still peeled after about a week but it was better than the 1 day I had at first! They've stayed on my toes for 3 weeks though.
Also, it's apparently really important that you don't touch the polish at all until you've applied the top coat as any oil from your skin stops them from curing properly.
And before any one says, I'm a real person. I'm not part of millenium nails and slightly offended that people are suggesting I have issues with grammar. Just posting an honest opinion and help to others...

I ordered this using a Groupon and it was over a week before i received it.
Was pleased when i got it... but the yellow i ordered had leaked.

i find the "gel" varnish to be more like "shellac" as you shouldnt be able to peel Gel off (not in my experience anyway) I once had mine done in Gel and i had to bite the gel off like you would have to bite nail extensions off..

This is definitely peelable shellac type stuff.

I bought my kit from millenium nails a while back. It arrived within a week. One of the bulbs blew off I called them and they exchanged it straight away no bother. I found that the gel peeled off at first but again it was down to practise and not the actual product. I agree it is more like shellac than gel but I am not bothered and neither are my clients, they get a lovely glossy manicure and it lasts around two and a half to three weeks depending on how good they look after their hands. I charge slightly lower price on these gels and treat them as gelish. I go directly to their Newcastle base and I find the staff very helpful and nothing is a bother for them.

The whole poorly written misspelled reply to me is in an earlier post however here is an extract.....,Our team of college Tutors, Nail Technitions and Consumers also the Manufacturer !! will bear witness to the Quality and durability of our products..........

I believe they just have if you read the post above thanks to Bexster. Please please proceed with caution.

By the way this company will not refund even unopened nail gel polish I have asked t why but they have failed to respond to my email and that was at least 3 weeks ago

I'm not in the industry but nevertheless want to ensure that anyone spending their hard earned money spends it wisely not lining the pockets of this shockingly bad outfit.

You have been warned!
