Not only has WR Grace gotten away with murder but thanks to Max Baucus, WR Grace don't have to pay for all the people they knowingly poisoned.Isn't that right Max Baucus...you low life scum.

As a long time Libby resident,(23 years) I dont know who this Mike Crill person is, I have no idea why he would be upset. The people of Libby deserve health care in light of the situation regardless of who is paying for it. Thinking that WR Grace should pay is just ridicules. The last thing you want is a "for profit" company running your health care. Max Baucus keep his promise to Libby, and Libby is thankful. If Mike is so upset he should leave and seek better health care somewhere else. As far as his statement on the safety of Libby, I'm sure thats his own option, one not shared by many in Libby.

Are you too in denial Gery? And yes,WRGrace should pay for what THEY done.If you feel good about paying for them by paying my and 2000 plus medical bills till we die...cool.I am just sick and tired of being tire and sick and WR Grace is getting away with all they have done to us.Yah I got a problem and now another problem to another denial to the truth.Libby will never be safe. What is safe about your entire family sick and dying all from the same thing by the same people who continue to sell you Libby as safe. What has changed???Well, I know this guy who tells all who will listen to stay away from Libby Mt as Libby is not a safe place to anything that breathes.Tremolite kills you or haven't you figured that out after 20 something years of breatheing Libby's deadly air.You too will or are going to die as I and all the rest.If you think your fine now, we all were fine once too.How bout thanking Mike Crill for caring enough to tell the truth to those who listen and seek the truth for themselves and family/children.Why you all down me.....I save lives. What do you do Mr Nadler?

Mike: While I applaud your passion, I just dont think you have a real perspective on the solution. I moved here before the mine was closed down. Its been 20 years,(yes 20 years), since its closer. I watched Libby struggle with its identity for the past 10-15 years and Im happy to report that, with the help of the EPA and its clean up efforts its hard to paint a broad brush of Libby as a, as you put in some of your responses, a "death town". Libby is safer than it was 20 years ago and it will be safer 20 years from now. Can any other town say that. The EPA clean up will be finished in 1-3 years and all of the effort by community, state and government officials will pay off with a diverse and growing community. I know you dont like that, but thats just what will happen. I have no problem inviting guest to my home from other parts of the country to experience the beauty and people of this community. We even hosted a foreign exchange high school student from Japan a few years ago. Im not going to dwell or debate over old issues that have been resolved for Libby. I would encourage you to do the same and look forward to a stronger Libby, Thats if you care about Libby and the people you think you are saving. As far as what I do - I own an engineering consulting company here in Libby. We are currently working on the new Stinger building,(along with other buildings), for the industrial park. What do you do?

Gery,I guess all those new business who bring in new employees had better get some asbestos insurance cuz I can assure you, all employees who come to Libby being told Libby is safe, will sue you down the road...unless you too grab the money and run...All you all are doing is continueing the deadly exposure.Read that again.NOTHING has changed, nothing is clean and NOTHING is safe. And 10 years and Millions spent/easted NO ONE in Libby is safe nor will ever be safe from the air that kills.JUST the results from the U of M bark study shows all of you people that in one gram of tree bark which counted 530 MILLION Tremolite asbestos fibers,THAT ONE GRAM of bark WILL kill Libby all over again.Imagine if you would, what that one tree contains. And everyday when the wind blows, those fibers are released into the air and into you lungs. The trees bark is not a issue said EPA yet to ignore the tree issue, you ain't cleaning nothing. And the River banks all the way to Bonners is full of Tremolite, and this is not a issue.Well, it is a issue if you plan to sell Libby as safe.Which is what you all have done and the deadly exposure continues. And if you have children, you are killing them too.Libby does not hand pick who gets to die from the air.We found out in 1999 we all are sick and dying from the same thing.Anyway,I guess I won't bother saving your butt nor your childrens butt. That is something you will live with. You all will live with just as I.When you become a victim, we shall see who gets pissed. If anyone cared about those people/families as I do,maybe just maybe you could break down a confess to the truth.the truth that Libby Mt IS A DEATH TOWN. Nothing else. And your first BIG mistake is listening to EPA.They been killing Libby since the early 70's when they took rat tests after WR GRace and the rats died of Meso...Deny all you want.It is you not me that has to look at you everyday to remind you of what you should of done but did not do.Tell the truth.Your welcome. You know...what I do .Why not you?

Mike: As I said in my past post I do appreciate your passion regarding this issue. I do have concern over your inability to realize that movement on the asbestos issues in Libby have occurred and things are getting better. I dont think anyone can believe you when you continue to post inflammatory and false information just to suit your position. A good example is how you misquoted the U of M tree bark study. I would suggest you go back and review that study. You will find that indeed 350 million asbestos fiber are in the trees around libby, but what you fail to mention, or deliberately added to support your position, is that they were all different types of asbestos. Only Tremolite, which made up around 0.001 % of the asbestos fibers, have been linked to asbestos related illness. Again this fact was overlooked by you. Again, your out of touch with what is happening in Libby and as a 23 year resident I just dont believe me or anyone can take anything you write seriously now or in the future. Best of luck in your future endeavors.

When their are people like to,23 years in Libby and in denial...it don't matter what you say.It is what I say that matters and I matter to those I save.I care less about people like you.The small small hand full of you ignorants. And yes ONE Tremolite fiber inhaled into the lungs LEADS to cancer...Dr.Irving Selikoff.Who the hell are you???Stay away from Libby Mt.

Mike: Im very familiar with (Dr) Irving Selikoff. Are you?

http://jhmas.oxfordjournals.org/cgi/content/a...

Between the early 1960s and his death, Irving John Selikoff (19151992) was the dominant figure in the field of asbestos and health. He was particularly important in helping to establish a causal association between relatively low and spasmodic exposure to asbestos dust on the part of insulation workers and excess mortality rates. Through scientific and other activities, he played as large a part as anyone in destroying the American asbestos industry. This article traces Selikoff's medical education across three continents between 1936 and 1945. This education was relatively brief, patchy, and in some respects substandard. Selikoff never obtained the M.D. degree he repeatedly claimed he possessed. Questions are raised about how he attained such high professional recognition given his very modest educational attainments. Reflections are offered about whether asbestos regulation and litigation might have been different if Selikoff's evasions had come to light before now.

How bout this one..."Children born and raised in a asbestos contaminated environment are MORE at risk of developing Meso. How many Tremolite fibers did it take to kill those rats? And the study done from 1979 to 2002 called Meso in Montana speaks for yourself.I am very educated with Irving and many others of authority and then I have my own lessons in life and being diagnosed.Oh, and lets not forget that YES, unborn do get exposed to Tremolite/asbestos from Mothers exposure.Dr.Hauge(sp).Don't try to out wit me on education of this subject.I am way over your head and I tell the truth. Why don't you tell the truth or are you up the rears of the ignorants of Libby too.Sure sounds and smells like it.Stay away from Libby....tell the world to do that...if YOU care.

Oh and Dr.Miller testimony at the WRdisGrace murder trial stating that ALL in Libby will die from asbestos if they live long enough and don't die from something else first. Then Dr Whitehouse testifing that a Meso epidemic is on the horizon in the next 10 to 30 years. He was talking about the 90% of the people of Libby he has diagnosed.Give up....I am way beyond your intellegence.Listen and learn or is it too late for you.We shall see.

Mike - I would never try to out wit your on education credentials. You have been hanging on in the past for a good part of the past 10 years looking for a reason to make your life have some relevance. Its an amazing talent to take old and outdate info and apply it to anything that is relevant today, but give credit to people, they are not as stupid as you think. We do agree on some things. There will be a Meso epidemic in the next 20- 30 years. In addition I predict another flu pandemic, HIV epidemic. and possible a epidemic we have not even imagined yet. Will the government steps up like they did for Libby - time will tell . And do you really want to hang you hat on the testimony of Dr. Miller. That would be at the trial he testified, and lost. As you recall WR Grace was found not guilty by 12 of my fellow Montana citizens - and one from Libby. You closing statement - "I am way beyond your intelligence. Listen and learn or is it too late for you.", so far I'm not impressed.

Mr Crill: Having just read the discussions point brought up by "Helloitsme" I had no idea you were on a "Program" of some kind. I apologize if I had offended you in any way. My intend was to open a dialog with what seams to be the only person in Libby that was not aware of the improvement taking place in Libby. I see now that you are not even in Libby. I did not notice that at first. It does clear up why you were not aware of any of the current progress in Libby. Please continue your programs and treatments and work hard at getting better for 2010. Have a wonderful new year. BTW The president Obama response in the "Dear Mike Crill" article did not help you at all - it just really shed some light on your delusions and problems.
