My point exactly. The Honda 3.5L SOHC is a much simpler engine than the GM 3.6L DOHC VVT engine. The Honda engine makes roughly the same horsepower and costs much less to manufacture.

So you agree the GM engine is more complex than the hondo engine and gets better MPG.
