What does Hamiltonban Township, Adams County have to say about eventually losing a taxable property to a state forest? Screw the rest of the taxpayers, who have to make it up.

I'm sure the added cost for water, sewer, emergency services, and road improvements would have eaten any increase in tax revenue the township would have seen. Someone has to finance these improvements and it's done on the backs of the existing taxpayers. Besides, most residents probably would rather have that property undeveloped then have urban sprawl happening everywhere else around here.

You are so right, when are people going to finally realize that paving farm/wood land for new development does not benefit taxpayers?? Soon, I hope!
