Looks like Glatfelter wants to pad it's holdings and absorb some more of the paper market.

Glad to hear Gladfelter expanding. They chased me from my West York home to Florida where the air is fresh and clean. Like ding and Jill said, the Hicks in York do not know any better. These people love the Gladfelter smell, maybe it will be a bit stronger. Any other place in America, where educated people live, a company would not be able to pollute the air people breath and pollute there homes. Yorker know no different. What a shame in the year 2010.

Perhaps you'd like them to go out of
business and put hundreds more
on the unemployment line?
You people are unreal, a company like
Glatfelter has employed tens of thousands
of people over the years and provided them
with a good living . Your the same type of
people that'll bitch about a cell phone
tower in your back yard when you spend half
a day talking on it.

If a good living to you is a low paying factory job in a polluted neighborhood then obviously you know no better. Some of us do.

A community will get what they will accept and Yorkers get stinky, polluted air and water because they are too backward to demand better.

Bill oh great Bill...why is my level of education
any concern of yours? Furthermore I HAVE a
six figure salary if you must know.
Point is Glatfelter has been in business
over 100 years more than any of you or any
of your grandparents. And they will be here
long after you too.

I wonder if our area will see any of the new tax dollars that PA is bringing in since they started taxing feminine products about two months ago .
Personally I think it is Gender discrimination .
Women are going to pay this tax twelve months a year for 30-40 yrs..
Women ! We should boycott this tax with a Tampon Party and throw our plugs and pads in the Codorus Creek !
