I started off as a temp @ remedy temp agencies in Los Angeles. I was a temp for 3yrs I was just glad 2 have a job & be off the streets;) My hard work payed off in 95 working for neutrogena. J&J went 3rd party with Exel in 98 I was hired on never looked back;) lms I was implemented there & I exelled @ it. Transferred to General Mills in Carson ca. Became top picker & worked my way up to big lift operator. 15 yrs & counting thank you Jesus for my job & associates I wouldn't change it for nothing in the world..

i am an ex Exel employee that does not know whether the union would have helped me or not, but i do know that my 3 yrs with that co. came to an abrupt end on 8/17/11, one week after i celebrated my 3 yr anniversary at Gen. Mills in Palmyra,PA. And the only thing that i can say is that i did nothing wrong. My numbers were up, I had no problem with attendance. But I will say this, if they want you out of there they will find a way to get rid of you. The sad part about this whole ordeal is that the powers that be turn a blind eye when someone they favor actually does something wrong. But that is ok to, because the day they fired me,my new job hired me. Trust me I'm not a disgruntled employee. But I have favor with a Higher Authority that one day even Exel is going to answer to. There is life after Exel.

Praise the lord that no one was injured on the job while you worked here. If your going to post at least tell the truth. Tell everyone how many accidents you had in the last year. i heard jade was fired for fixing up lms 4 people so they can keep there jobs im sure me and others were fix to let us go i know one lady missed by 1 on her scores that crazy u know i liked my job and i was good at it we all are mike jeromy everybody just crazy there i moved on to better god bless

Exel is a fraud all around in and out, corporate never shows up surprisingly to audit the management on how lms numbers are being altered and fabricated, I have seen a guy get fired for have positive 30 which is cheating the system, and letting the female worker (which is also the sister of the supervisor and future in law of a management official) get positive 50,60s and even 70s! Which Lms strictly deemed as cheating, but she's still there getting 600$ plus in bonus a month while 80% get 80$ a month, everyone is related and has there kid or girlfriend working there so favoritism runs rampid, its sad our human resources is worthless. Woodland California Exel scj is one of the most sickafantic companies out there today. It's sad people can't just go to work and make a living because it's Exel family members that run the whole show, it leaves the non relation people like me helpless and robbed of our dignity and bonus we deserve for hard work, please help

Exelfraud, your just mad that none of your family members work here, woodland scj is a wonderfull place to work for, did you ever stop to think that maybe they are hiring all family and friends so that operations go smoother?? No u didn't, and don't be mad that we are related and dating upper management and supervisors , just get a life . Mine is Exel woodland ca. And loving it

I know General Mills is better than this. I worked for Kenco Logistix then Excel under bid them for the contract. I was then hired on with Exel after Kenco closed the doors. General Mill made a huge mistake by going with Exel to run the social circle warehouse. We was ordered by management to hide and even throw away product that was slightly damaged just to keep GMs from finding out how much people were damaging. The management at exel is the worst I have ever seen. General Manager got fired for having affair with new employee. Operations manager having a affair also but he was just moved to new department. HR manager was fired for covering up the GM's affair. All good supervisors left so they stuck people in those positions that had no clue what to do. I also left awhile ago. General Mills you should get rid of Exel and get Kenco to run your Logistics in social circle Ga. I worked for both and Kenco is top notch while exel is lost. That's why they lost the Kellogg account. They have poor leadership & treatment of employees of sad.

LMS it looks good from a paper stand point but when you go to crunch the numbers they just do not add up. it dose not take into account all the little things that you run into between they picking and the traveling. when they add up your down time they get to pick what you get credit for and what you do not. sure they say the system is fair.... but really? when someone else is still picking what you really get and what you do not... how can that be? personally i can make LMS and i do but when they post the numbers im always negative. the reason being is that i stood up to the person that adds up all my numbers. since then.... yeah haven't made it for awhile. so yeah just look out for yourself and the people next to you because at the end of the day you don't work for management they work for you! you and the others that are on the floor you make it all happen. remember without you they have no jobs!

I couldnt agree more with you, its strange how this happens at other excel sites, its a half witted third party company that makes claims that they are the biggest supply chain, social circle excel, the shouldnt allow family to work under management, of course they are going to give there family the easy tasks and plug lms numbers to benefit there son or sister that works under them, why allow that excel??? Its not hard to figure these things out if you had competent human resources to point these issues out at individual sites!!!! What happen to common sense and fairness ? Instead you have incompetent managment that judges your work on family and freinds , while people that just want to be legitimate and work get 1$ bonuses because were not related, its common sense corruption will occur when your site if full of people that are related or grew up together in the same small town of woodland ca. While others get treated like someone that needs to be replaced with managments family or friends , the site is continueing to hire through accustaff agency and that agency is allowing exel to pick freinds and family and sending them to this temp agaency and then the temp agency agrees to hire based on who excel sends them, not based on a good resume and work history, woodland scj now contains 80% family and personal freinds and that number is growing as accustaff sends more freinds and family to the site under managments requests, which isnt fair for the ppl going to the agency in hopes of finding a job, not knowing there waisting there time applying because accustaff already has a freind or family lined up for the job due to managments request, exel is currently being sued amd i shouldnt have to deal with lawyers calling my phone everday due to exels corporate and site fraud.. It will all come out eventually, the truth will comeout

This might sound short-sighted of me but I might like to see that here. At this Exel site if you want to work, great and they do appriciate it, and if you don't want to work that's ok too, people sit around on thier phones and bullshit all day and no one will say anything to them. When you come in nothing is ready and managment doesn't care.

Thursday I had 15 empty pick zones that I had to replenish before the pickers could even get started and another dozen that only had enough parts for the first route. They leave their trash, palets, lids and bases all over the place, floor is never swept. Goes on every day. In our Kanban system the company can easily tell how much someone is or isn't doing but it is not used to correct these issues.

We don't have the family situation in Toledo that you speak of, but we sure do see alot people get away with some things that others will get nailed for. Once they target you it's only a matter of time before you're out the door, but there are many people that should have gone out that door that are still there.

I enjoy my job at Exel, been there almost 7 years and hope we get another contract so I keep working but sometimes that place gives me an attiude.
