Nestle has been announced that it will acquire General Mills in the United States around early 2008. Nestle will introduce their own breakfast cereal line around early 2008, which includes General Mills breakfast cereals with Nestle original breakfast cereals added.

Nestle will introduce their fruit snack line around early 2008, which includes Betty Crocker originals Fruit Gushers, Fruit Roll-Ups and Fruit by the Foot, with Nestle original fruit snacks to be added.

All of General Mills' products will be manufactured by Nestle in the United States around early 2008.
