Maybe one of the other reasons that General Mills is making higher profits is the hundreds of local, good paying jobs that they've moved to India. Pioneer Press, if you want to do an interesting report, research all of the jobs that General Mills has moved to India recently and the additional ones ready to disappear shortly.
