This is still one of the craziest things the legislature has ever done. Jim Amann is a complete moron, and this is just more proof of it. Tax credits are one thing, but tax credits of 30% are just out of control.

We don't need him over here. He and his kind can stay in Chicago. He'd make a good companion to Gov Blogo. I welcome the efforts by Gov Rell to convince NBC to produce more shows in CT. However, let's not include trash TV in here. We need sensible, smart people who can move the economy along, not trashy morons like Springer.

The springer show has determined that Connecticut can supply the kind of audience it needs for it's freak show. Interesting Verrrrrrrrrrryy interesting.

This is absolutely the worst show on TV. It's scary that some people are entertained by this garbage. And these people are allowed to vote? If the Jerry Springer show comes to Connecticut, in no way will this have a positive influence on anything.

Springer, Wilkos, and Maury. These losers will surely put Connecticut on the map, as a place so desperate for recognition they would stoop to this garbage. And to give this scum tax breaks at that.

The only thing more stupid than these shows are the people that watch them

Springer is a liberal Democrat and should fit very well in your state.

How much money does this bring to the state? With all these tax credits is it even worth for the state to have film production here? I understand its nice to see stuff getting filmed here, but is it worth all the give aways that are giving to the production companies?
Just say NO NO NO

It's time to end this giveaway to the fat cats.$90 million is about 1/10th of the current deficit. Where are all the "GOOD" paying jobs this BS credit was going to create. NO WHERE. GE is run by PIG JEFF IMLET who is paid tens of millions of dollars every year and GE is crying for a tax credit GET SERIOUS

How classy! Jerry Srpinger is good publicity for Fairfield County, and Maury Povich too. Now that's rich.

They should move Springer Production to Hartford or Waterbury, they could recruit guests right off the street. It would be a perfect fit. Or better yet set up a studio right at the entrance to Fox Woods. They could screen for guests right at the door and pay them in Wampum. Some things just go together.

It's one thing for Jerry's guests to hitch rides from the South to Chicago.

Now you want them to hitch all the way to Connecticut?

So people want to question Coach Calhoun for his $1.6M salary. A man who has donated to local charities hugely, Put UCONN sports on the national map, made me proud to be from Conn, and has developed some of the best NBA players both on and off the court. This embarrasses Gov Rell however spending $90M to bring the voice of the trailer park springer to this fine state she is exited about?

I hope the arts community of southern Connecticut rises up and totally slams down this stupid idea to make a theater have to put on lame talk shows which really can easily be done in a warehouse anywhere in the world. It is appaling that the state would convince an arts entity that this was the best way to close a budget hole.

Might as well add to the debauchery of this state.
