When someone gets hurt from this guy's crew it raises the premium for all legitimate contractors. Just sub-out the work if you can't pay the premiums.

he did it to obtain work!!!!!!!!!!

just another example of big brother keeping the small fries down!!!

who the f u c k can afford to maintain the premiums in question, just to "HOPEFULLY" LAND A JOB?

WE ALL FEEL SO MUCH SAFER NOW THAT YOU'VE MADE THIS ARREST OF A WORKING STIFF TRYING TO GRAB UP A JOB!

:ROLLING MY F'N EYES:

maybe when he's all done with the courts he can pack up his crew and move to a more labor friendly state?

Labor friendly? To obtain work?
Are you his wife?
Between the losers that hire illegal aliens to take REAL U.S. citizens jobs, the un-insured contractors drive up the costs everyday of legitimate contractors. i.e., they don't ever finish the job, because they bid it so low (because they gave it away to get the job) they never finish the work, so the GC has to go to the insurance bonding company to go get bidder number two or three to complete the job, throw the budget into a quagmire and generally FUBAR the entire project. There goes everybody insurance rates (because your boy didn't know what he was doing). That doesn't even include that the cheap guy didn't pay any health premiums for his workers, didn't pay their F.I.C.A, didn't pay their unemployment taxes, so when he leaves the job, they can't even get NYS to carry them while they wait for a REAL employer to hire them. Take your loser story and your loser contractors and YES, MOVE out of my state. roll your eyes, and then MOVE, jerk.

You are both right to a degree. NYS not only beats its citizens down but also its small business with over the top taxation.

But then again schmucks like this do in fact drive up not only insurance, but all other costs for other business and taxpayers.

The worst are the lawyers, whose lobby pours sooo much money into the pockets of their brethren, the politicians, that we can not get fair legislation for workers compensation, general liability and such.

Perfect example is the NYS legislator, in their infinite wisdom and with PAC money poured into their pocket from the Trial Lawyers Assoc, passed a law for personal auto insurance in NYS which says in essence you now can sue your spouse, under your own auto insurance bodily injury liability, for pain and suffering (Spousal Liability Coverage). In the past you could not do this because a husband and wife are one legal entity and you can not sue yourself. Not any more, all this does is give the Trail Lawyers another avenue to rape the consumer via insurance. Thank about that when all those bald headed, bushy browed, large beaked and nit wit commercials come on TV.
