Drop-tower rides shut after Kentucky accident

Six Flags and Cedar Fair shut down eight more thrill rides across North America on Friday after a teenage girl's feet were sliced off during a ride in Kentucky.

I am a huge fan of theme parks and attraction rides, but when I heard this, I couldn't feel my feet for days. I was astounded and shocked to hear about this poor girl and my sympathy to her and her family, please tell me that this issue is being resolved, I am afraid to return to any theme park after this, for the fear of losing my feet.
