Sponsored blogs come under fire

Corporate sponsorship is commonplace on the radio, behind celebrity endorsements and in professional sporting events.

The last paragraph sums up the situation well. People keep reading bloggers and Tweeple who have gained their trust. Blow that trust and readers walk away.
The only people who categorically reject the idea of sponsored content are trust fund babies and other people who don't need to earn a living.
