Has anyone ever worked for Fluor and been a victim of harassment, discrimination, etc. and reported it to Fluor and been subject to retaliation and other forms of harassment?
How about corruption of company officials receiving bribes, sexual favors, etc.?
According to the Fluor website they have strict policies against this "environment". Fluor has a refiney project near St. Louis Mo. where the local laborers union are providing bribes, kickbacks, and female laborers are providing sexual favors to company/salary employees in return for favortism, payroll theft of services, theft/misuse of company property, and anything else they can get away with.
For example a female teamster reported a sexual harassment issue to Fluor and the managers and laborers retaliated against this person causing her stress and undue harm when she did the "right thing" according to Fluor company policy. The laborers and company official created a hostile work environment creating unsafe situations and continued harassment.
If anyone else has ever experience such brutal tactis please speak up and give your details.

I was a victim of sexual discrimination at Fluor, and I'm a educated professional. I was looked in the face and told I wouldn't have opportunities like men since I should be home taking care of my children. I went to HR and was told they would take my complaint up the line, but would probably lose my job if I did. Its too late for me to file an EEOC complaint, but I would gladly help any other woman who needs to. I now work for a company that does value women in the workplace -- huge difference.

There are several at this particular place. Maybe it's time for a Class Action Lawsuit!

It is very difficult and almost impossible for a woman to succeed with fluor........ unless she is somehow attached to a high ranking male.

My husband is in one of the highest management position for Fluor in overseas. One of the lady who works with my husband's office is practically throwing herself to my husband. Flashing her fake boobs to all men who worked there. No wonder she is doing this so she can move up onto the top ladder. Well, this is unprofessional behavior in the workplace and Fluor HR dept. should get rid of this person and send her home where she belong.

How do you think she got her job at Fluor? if your husband was flashing her and she was fired your husband would keep his job for protecting Fluor. If your husband complained he'd be looking for a job.

What about the discrimination in Afghanistan, I can mention names like Rick Reuter former KBR and now Fluor VIP for Afghanistan. Discrimination for all the Expat hiring balkanes taking out our jobs. The government support Fluor. Fluor is not what the people think, they don't care for the people who work for them. They are doing a lot of Wastes, Fraud and Abuse. If somebody wants to send e-mails to this people, I will to provide the e-mails of the HR staff department to see If somebody help us to stop Fluor sending e-mails to this people to see If really they do something. We need your help to open an a big investigation agains fluor in Afghanistan. Here is the e-mails.

I worked for Fluor from May 2010 to April 2010 I dont know if it;s harrasment but I was terminated in April after returnibg from R & R due to my physiacl beibg out of Date in Dec, I went on R & R in Dec of 2010 and my physicak had expired then I was allowed back in country with no issues at that time I told them I was not renewing my contract in May howevr when I returned from my r & r in April first of all i had to pay for my own room when I got there due to the mix up i had to pay for 2 days at my expense.after it was all said and done I lost my reimbursement money about 4,000,00 , they took back my sign on bonus and I lost the 3,000.00 completion bonus I would have had 48 days left in my contarct. I have a very bad taste in my mouth for Fluor I worked for KBR for over 8 years never encountered any problems of this nature.Thank You im advance for any help or advice you may have for me my email is [email protected]

My Husband works for Fluor and he had an affair with another woman who works for Fluor overseas. Is there anyway I can get that woman in trouble for what she did? I think she is just another easy woman trying to sleep with someone who is higher up on the ladder.

I worked for Fluor for over 12 years. My experiences with weak HR and management at corporate level are similar. Fluor has to be the only company I know where a damn Director can lose 50 million of its investors money (paper mill- Louisiana!), keep his job and receive a promotion within a year after screwing up! Unbelievable! This guy knew he was directly responsible and was ready for the outcome that would have most likely incurred any where else! It even amazed him that he wasn't axed!
Lets don't even get into their hiring, compensation, and promotion practices........also a joke! Can we say Good-Ol Boy network?

May as well get used to it or leave him. Affairs are so rampant in Iraq and Afghanistan. I've seen women get off the bus over there and within two or three days, are living with a man in the man's hootch. Some men are waiting for a particular woman to arrive. They either hooked up with her at inprocessing or knew her at another camp. Some have several short term affairs...some leave their spouses for another woman. No one's going to do anything about it because it's the norm over there. The very person you'd call to complain to will probably have someone living with them. If both people live in tents with others, they'll just hook up in some office or closet or anywhere else they can. Your husband was a dog and you may as well admit it to yourself. If it hadn't been that woman, it would have been another. She may not have even been the first one he had an affair with. Probably won't be the last either. You'd be sick if you saw what goes on over there. And most of them never get caught. You just need to forget about getting that girl into trouble. He knew what he was doing...deal with him and realize he's going to do it again and you're going to be hurt again. For all of his "I'm sorry", all he really wants is a place to come home to when he's finished doing whatever he pleases behind your back. Don't be a fool...get rid of him. I'm so sorry for your hurt...I've seen it so many times over there.

The one who should be penalize is your husband. Ladies, it is time for us to start recognizing who we are. If it was you the one having the affair, will your husband talk about that guy who was with you? No, he will blame you. He is the one not behaving and not faithful to the relationship. If a lady at work is not a professional one and is given a position for favors, that's management fault and we are contributing and allowing that to happen. Let's start showing names here and to Fluor Headquarters so they can take action and the abusers be exposed to the public. They continue doing this because they are hiding and telling these ladies not to say anything. Please, let's stop it.

I have been working for Fluor since they took over in Afghanistan. I am a HVAC Foreman and I have been discriminated for being black and also other employees that are not white. Some of us reported this to HR and EAP and they never did anything about it and this is still going on right now. The discrimination comes from above and is a lot of little groups here doing this.

My name is Miroslav I have been working for 2.5 years and fluorine during that time I have no problems either, so who complained to me the thread so I did something wrong .... I am now afghanistanu fluorine me fired and accused of sexual harasment for which no tip nor am I guilty of something i did not have charged me for a serious thing i have proof that I am not guilty, and i did not do anything like that and they made ​​the decision and accused me of something terrible and seriously on the basis of written statements from local people who work in the kitchen and for which I have evidence-images where they sleep for 4 hours during the business day where cooked food without temperature, washing clothes in the pen for food, where do food without gloves and many others....
