All these whirlygigs were going to when the company goes bankrupt is rusting tombstones. Then Jack anf Jill Taxpayer would be left holding the bag to fill with money to remove them.

Have you ever lived near an oil field or a coal mine? Oh the joys of fossil fuels. Everything has its downside ...
I wonder if this is about WHO will put up with the downside...

You are right, I've seen it personally, the company in trouble 'sells' its assets (to another company usually with the same owners) and dumps liabilities on the government. Bend over!

Whatever. Just another stupid excuse to avoid doing renewable energy. Notice how those who are pro-oil & pro-coal NEVER live near an oil refinery or a coal mine or a coal fired powerplant? Yet those who support clean energy often have their own solar panels & wind towers on their own property.

I hope gas goes to $20/gallon soon just so we're finally forced to develop clean energy sources.

The taxpayers out here dont understand how much it is going to cost to remove these rusting tombstones. It is a different story on land, but when you need to do this at sea, the amount of money it takes goes out of sight. All the politicians in MA can think about is putting these whirlygigs out there for the sake of Fat Teddy and his legacy. The dumbest of these is the governor of MA.

You are right. Just calling them hypocrites doesn't do them justice. The whole Green Agenda is just a basic money laundering scheme used by Obama and the other thieves in Washington to steal taxpayer money and rob shareholders ala Solyndra to fund their insane socialist cause. A thieving socialist scum sits at our highest position.
