Thats it, have a bad idea. Spend money stupidly. Figure out the cost. Send the bill to rate users. How about a no lose plan to screw the users.
Let me guess, a few months down the road, the PUCO will allow the cost or part of it.
Amazing. And people wonder why the populus is mad as heck.

The public utilities commission cannot allow this - People make decisions, some good some bad and the result is a business will prosper or falter. That's the way it is supposed to work. Thousands of business enterprises come and go every year and you do not hear the failed owners demanding the PUBLIC pay for their bad decisions. To allow this would be yet another example of government, the attitude of entitlement and the failure of the nanny state!!

This is another case of government interfering with free enterprise. Why should some bureaucrat be allowed to determine what First Energy should be allowed to do.
We need to eliminate those overpaid state regulators.

My money says that the PUCO will allow this somewhere down the road, they always screw the consumer in favor of the Utility
