("We do buy our natural gas through a state contract through FirstEnergy, and depending on pricing, they buy some of that upfront and lock it in, and then they get some of that on the market," Rakosky said. "It just depends on what's happening with pricing.")
(But not everyone is basking in the lower price of natural gas. Five central Ohio suburbs -- Bexley, Dublin, Gahanna, Grandview Heights and Upper Arlington -- formed a consortium for participating residents to lock in prices. However, they locked in at prices that are now looking high -- more than TWICE the current market.)
