They are not confused and that is why they are angry. Another fast one was tried and it failed. Funny how all this green energy seems to pull more and more money from consumers pockets. Thank you very little al gore and your inconvenient lie. If you buy into this logic then you truly are narcissistic. Yes humans can affect damage to this planet in many ways but to think that we puny humans can change the global temperature is ridiculous. You think maybe the nuclear frunace a few millions miles away may have more to do with it then us humans?! Which way did the temperature go this year? Now go check the sunspot activity and see if it was more or less. Now use your brains for once people. Everyday more and more scientists are shifting their opinions on this "idea". Bottom line it's a money grab!

Hey First Energy, maybe you need to turn on that light bulb in your head first, be it energy efficient or old school. How about a little research on your part BEFORE you institute a plan like this. Boy, do you have an embaressment on your hands of your own making. As a consumer of electric I will absolutely run away from any marketing done by you.

I am so tired of these utility companies ripping off their customers! Instead of marking those bulbs up to 21.00 why don't they give a discount to those who use those bulbs? Or at least sell the bulbs to the customers who want to pay 21.00 for them. You can get those bulbs at Aldi's for under 3.00

No different the taxpayers bailing out the auto companies and overpaid CEOs who make MILLIONs in bonuses. Stick it to the midle class.
And how about the Health Care bill _ When the President and Congress both agree to take the same medical coverage and premiums, presriptions, etc. that they are attempting to foist upon us, then I'll join as well. But you can bet your mortgage that aint going to happen.
Stick it to the lttle guys again...

Let's see how the PUCO & First Energy try to spin those CFL lamps by us again. Worst program ever especially the part about paying for electricity not used, and like always it was Governor Stricknine at the light switch. That man is not only raising our state income taxes in April 2010 for the year 2009, but has totally lost it. He needs to be gone next election. A Republican could do no worse. Be wooried about Cap & Trade too from the Democrooks in Congress. That one will even be worse.

How can you hand out bulbs to help people save on their electric bill & then CHARGE them for using less electric? Holy crap - what is the point then?? And - are they going to hand out then ones for dimmer controled lights? I seriously doubt it...
