Snapping 12k power lines over your head? Really Scary. That's like getting whipped by a lightning bolt (Ivan Stanko in Iron Man 2 anyone?). There are no excuses for this mistake.... i.e. "Crack in the wall".

They should have tied a rope to it, and had someone pull in the direction they wanted it to fall. So basic even a Caveman could have done it.
There you go again. "Even a Caveman could have done it, indeed!"

This reminds me of that old song Smokestack Lightning. But really, I am more concerned about the potato chip factory closing as I hear you americans have good potato chips.

Hmmmm...yeah it must have been a crack. Oddly, they did not notice it before, assuming they did a proper inspection. Even more odd, how they can so quickly determine this was the cause when the evidence is rubble.

Springfield will be the undoing of whatever happens to land there. The locals all say there's no gravity there, it just sucks real bad.

Another lessons learned:
When watching a demolition, don't stand under nearby power lines.

Good video for a SouthWest airlines commercial:

Wanna get away?

Potentially very dangerous situatuion. Glad there was no injuries or death.
