I used to work with Eddie at Horseshoe. He was always such a great guy! I'm glad to know that foul play was not involved, and it was probably just an accident. He was always so sweet, and I just hated to even imagine that anyone could hurt him. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

So many people out there working FedEx as a second job, having full time lives outside of work. People out there on ramp are often sleeping every free moment they get. I used to live that life myself. I would guess that he fell asleep at the wheel. Seems as though events like this occur with employees out there every few years.

Thoughts, prayers, the whole nine...

Wow, the 2nd FedEx employee to have the misfortune of running off the road and be found some time later in a ditch. The other was a young woman that may have skidded on a patch of ice and land in the ditch. Her car was found upside down with her in driver seat w/ seatbelt on! Terrible! My sympathy goes out to this man's friends and family! RIP!

I am confused. If he disappeared March of 2009, how are the tire marks into the ditch fresh? Did I miss something?

I read the article again and it doesn't say the tracks were caused by the police, it said that was how they found the car submerged. Where did you see the tracks were caused by the police. Just curious.

Ok, let's look at it. It's been about a year since he has been missing. The car was found in the ditch this week. Obviously, the car has been there for probably the whole year. Well, if someone walking by just happened to see the car and called police then obiously the police pulled their car up to the ditch. Therefore, one would presume the police car left the "fresh" tracks.:)= Captain Obvious.
