go out to construction sites and to lawn service companies and you will see people running from autorities. this is such a farce because the politicians/need the votes and the low wage earners for their own selfish interests.

Well, obviously that staffing company doesn't bother to check anything. Also, you can't tell the legal people here that Fresh Del Monte is completely innocent in this situation. The labor company and Del Monte need to be put out of business.

Fresh DelMonte knows EXACTLY what is going on. Do you think they employ Americans who will work for such a low wage? Of course not. They are liars. There is not an industry in this country that can compete without the use of low paid ilegals. Rent the movie "A Day Without A Mexican". Awesome depiction of what would happen in California if there was no ilegal emaployment. And before i get flamed here, let's see a hands up for all you Americans who will scrub a toilet for less than minumum wage. Step up.

Shit!!!! Now my fresh fruit are going to increase at the grocers checkout, while my tax dollar wastes more money on investigating, arresting, containing and transporting the only workers willing to work for the salaries that they are giving.

Keep up the good work Homeland Security. Hope none of the bad guys have slipped through your net and begun working in the fields picking fruit or sweating in our businesses and factories cleaning toilets.

Lets create that isolationist counrty we keep talking about which includes removing our own damn selves out of other coutries we are not needed nor especially wanted ...

Go surfing and find the ugly history of Fresh Del Monte, and Marvin Bush and JEB Bush. And the Mexicans seizing it then selling it for LOW bid to Bush bubbas. Marvin on board. W. intervening in lawsuit against the campesino who sued for abuse in his homeland. Or the tricky deals they did with their poisoning of Hawaii pineapple workers -- and even the land. But our taxes are bailing Marvin again by "retraining" workers. Only the victims will go to jail or deportation. And the timing surely smells like tear jerk event to push Bush immigration plan. NU?

It is obvious that Del Monte uses contract staffing companies to provide them with their labor force, only to circumvent their management staffers from not being found guilty of hiring illegals. It is a well know fact in the blue collar industry companies adopt this contract hiring practice to circumvent ICE authorities. Many illegals come here without any education and seek out jobs requiring manual labor just like any US Citizen here who fails to properly educate themselves on a skillful or professional employment. In addition to this illegals cannot work in a workplace setting that requires a lenghty background check, to include good credit. Unless of course one of these shady companies provides them with the info/the ticket to their American Dream! If a day without a Mexican came true then cause and effect would take care of the illegal problem! Illegals would not be able to afford a gallon of milk and would be forced to seek another country to work in or turn to crime to fulfill their needs. I welcome a day without a Mexican and any demonstrations because our authorities will see the faces of those who don't belong in this country. I welcome legal immigration.

From what I understand, the working conditions at this plant were horrid. Yeah old GW Bush just loves that cheap labor.

Deport all people living in this country illegally now! Then make every lazy American get to work.
Mexicans work because they know if they don't work they don't eat (much like our grandparents).
