Why is our organization (Citizens United Against Corporate Corruption) entering this on the Forest City Enterprises topic? Quite simple. All their residential properties across the country are mold infested.

Who knows how many deaths have already occured.

Shame on the freeking media for keeping quiet about this. Yeah, they warned parents to have their babies sleep on their back but didn't tell them why.

The name of the mold is called Scopulariopsis Brevicaulis. Simply go to Google and type in "Mold is the main cause of SIDS" and many links to articles will come up in regards to this.

Well, hopefully enough people will read this to prevent future tragedys.

I didn't know about this one. I'll be sure to mention this to my friends in Brooklyn.

Man, this is worse that I thought. How is this company staying in business?

Because we have a loser president who like to give away our money to loser companies like this.

And a media who covers up everything for corrupt companies like this.

My baby died of SIDS on one of their properties last year. At that time I didn't know about this mold issue. If the media hadn't hid this from the public I could have moved out.

The America I know when I grew up is long gone. We've become helpless pawns in a corporate dictatorship where heinous companies like Forest City can just prey on it's victims with Obamas blessings.

Would it be right for me to pray for bad things to happen to people like this? I don't know, but it's hard not to.

My condolences. Our organization will put Forest City out of business, no matter how long it takes.

It would be nice if we could put all of Corporate America out of business. They have no regard at all for what happens to anybody. I bet half the CEO's in this country would send their own family up the river if it meant a one percent increase in their portfolios. Brutal.

Forest City and Target or two of the worst, so it was easy talking me in, to join you guys.

This is just yet one more of many reasons why 60 Minutes should and I think WILL do an investigation of all the things Forest City is doing, along with all the things the corrupt media is doing to cover up. Hell, the NY Times has already been caught red handed on some issues.

In the UK we spell it 'mould':)

Mold or mould is horrific in he way it destroys the bodies immunity. Kids and susceptible adults living in squalid conditions surrounded by wet mold is a sure way to an early grave.

There should be legislation in all states to protect tenants against living in mold-filled environments.

Note also that apparently dead mold gives off even more toxins then live mold.

In the UK the issue of mold in housing was recognized later than in the USA. The issue has been tackled now though where grants are available for better heating and insulation, together with extrs ventilation as required.

In rented properties it is the Landlord's job to ensure the work is carried out and paid for.

In America, things vary from city to city and state to state in regards to how it's handled.

The Forest City mold problem is very bad in Chicago because the city here doesn't do anything about it. In fact they're trying to wash their hands totally clean of it, by saying it's not a city code violation here unless you also have broken pipes or at least some leaking. Even then they're basically looking the other way.

In the near future I think both Forest City and the City of Chicago will be sued bigtime!

You're in the right country to go for a class-action mold suit. If tenants in a whole block have a problem it would be worthwhile to take a large company like Forest Enterprises or even Chicago City to the courts. The payout could be staggering and the whole country will have been done a favour.

I think there will be class action suits for mold and asbestos especially in Chicago. However at all costs these have to be jury trials. Based on my experience I think every judge in Chicago is corrupt and will take the side of Forest City.

That's the problem when there is a lot of money sloshing around. I'm sure there are many good and honest lawyers around, but as a group they appear far less moral than most, second only to the media and politicians.

The use of juries is a very sound idea. Nicely suggested. I do hope class action in Chicago happens, I dread to think how many families in Northern housing are living in a mold infested housing. It gives me the creeps just thinking about it.

Having said that it also grows in warmer southerly conditions as well. This is quite an interesting news article for anyone that's a novice to mold.

Man, I hope I don't get any traffic tickets in Chicago. These judges sound they'd throw people in jail for not wearing a seatbelt.

Unless of course they were high up the ladder in a corporation. Then they would get off "Scott Free" for a hit and run.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if Ratner was in on "911." He'd ask to be tried in Chicago so he could get off "Scott Free" for that one too.

It would be fitting if he got tried in NYC where it happened. Plenty of corrupt politicians and judges who always rule in his favor. However, for something like this he'd pay dearly.

And, yes I think Ratner was in on 911. His family does associate with organizations like Al Queda.

Unfortunately, I think you're right. Wonder what Ratner & Bin Laden have in store for us next.

LOL, this was the reverse of what happened in the past. We would post on RJF's computer and he would sometimes forget to switch it back to his own moniker. This time it was the other way around.

The "Bensenville" address comes up on his computer. We use AT&T and get nada on ours. I can see we're not alone.

Rumor has it, Bin Laden is dead and gone. Of course that could be more Obama propaganda. As for what Bruce Ratner will do next? I hope go out of businsess.
