You said it Butch. Funny how the whiners are neither shareholders or employees, but seem to think that this CEO's pay and other Ford employee pay is somehow their business. Listen to them chatter away like little children all wondering why Billy has an ice cream cone and they don't.
Like conservatives do about the union workers? Wah, he makes too much money!!

Remember that little piece of history where people had to fight and organize for decent wages, hours and safety? They had to organize and form unions because the corporations DID NOT CARE about the worker. Do you think that people died trying to organize labor because they were lazy?

That's why workers are safe today.

Rewarding good work is fine, but corporate pay hasn't gotten way out of hand. No one is worth $56 million a year. These Ford executives are walking away with hundreds of millions of dollars the company could use to improve research and development -- the type of investment that could secure the company's future for years to come. There are a number of economic experts who believe granting company executives stock options prompt them to make decisions that are good for short-term gains but hurt the company in the long run. A major problem with American corporations is that they concentrate way too much on next quarter's profit numbers and not enough on five- and 10-year looks down the road. If we haven't already we may soon reach the point where executive salaries are doing far more harm than they are good. And it has nothing to do with jealousy; it's just common sense. And quit putting Obama in the middle of every issue that comes down the pike. You're beginning to sound pretty stupid.
Look! The gutless, anonymous poster strikes again!

"A major problem with American corporations is that they concentrate way too much on next quarter's profit numbers and not enough on five- and 10-year looks down the road."

If they DON'T pay attention to next quarters profits, there will be no 10 years down the road, you socialist dreamer.

OBAMA

We need to get government OUT of the business of interfering with the free market.

I think a great place to start is to stop ALL government to corporation handouts.

Then restructure Wall Street to make it relevant to America, not just the financiers that overshadow it now.

And yes, as you can see above, I put Obama in the middle of it.

Are you talking public or private unions? And help me connect your rhetoric to the story here Bob. Are you getting off topic? Me thinks so.

Ah, the gutless, anonymous poster rides again....right Tom, um, I mean Bob?

Don't forget, dinosaurs ate people and they died back in history!

Let's fight the dinosaur! Come on everybody! Band together now!

Just for you...the liberal theme song refrain:

You just don't get it
You keep it copasetic
And you learn to accept it
And, oh, you're so pathetic

Praise God the executive gets the money he is due. If is wasn't for him the rank and file would be receiving unemployment. (witness GM)

when you act like a victim you become a victim. Unions do nothing but bloodsuck the prosperity from business and taxpayers. Corporations are people, they are sick of you wanting hand outs and condemn the very people you expect their money$$$$$. Grow up.

Bust up the unions, they have destroyed enough wealth in America all over their free ride.
