Should have been three times that amount. He has increased shareholder value exponentially and now has an even greater incentive to continue to act in the best interest of shareholders( which includes his own stock investment).

All the haters and class warfare types are just jealous that they can't earn that amoount in a lifetime because they are whiny little volunteer protesters that love the community organizer who is the biggest hater of them all!

Don't worry, that stock won't be worth a thing in a year or two

If you are a U.S. citizen he is your president. There isn't anyway around it and denial wont change it. You president is Obama. Get used to it and get ready for another term for your president, Obama.

They could have given each of the approximately 164,000 employees about $345 each. Without the contributions of each one I wouldn't consider buying a Ford.

why should a private company do that? the shareholders own the company the workers, who are unionized, are compensated handsomely. Us the public including retirement plans and peoples retirement accounts , own this company. go drive a yugo

I'm pleased with Ford, its leadership, and the F-150 I own.

Unfortunately, the other big winner in this stock award is the state and federal government, who will reap about half of it when they are sold and redistribute etc.

I totally agree with you.

And it is WRONG that the government will get money on sale of that stock.

I say lose the IRS as we know it today and go to a flat/consumption type tax.

Regardless, GREAT job Ford of leading not only in corporate profitability but in corporate ethics as well!

I worked with other engineers who worked with Alan Mulally when he was at Boeing. He was amazing back then and there was no dought he would do well at Ford. Now he's probably the most capable CEO (and has proved it) in the USA.

Good Job Alan!
