Expedia awful Service - no reply for six days

I found out one missing letter in passenger name, three weeks prior to the flight. It might have been Expedia mistake, as I have book through the same account previously, and everything was fine. I sent an email, got request number from Expedia computer saying they will do their best to answer within 24 hours. No reply within six day.
I just called them, two weeks before the fight, and after holding on the line for an hour they said they will issue a note the airline, but I will have to find out if this is OK or not at the gate.
And, they refuse to send out a confirmation email for the request, they tell me I should call the airline myself and they cannot access the request from six days ago since it's a different department.
