Ouch!,.. I guess these travel websites have each other's backs. AA was quick to drop Orbitz, but did they expect to be booted from Expedia as well? Those are two of the largest online travel booking sites.. Can AA afford to not be available on both of them?

Interesting question. I remember when the independent travel agents boycotted DELTA because they cut commissions. unfortunately the other airlines soon followed and now travel agents are rare as hen's teeth.

WN isn't on ANY travel site. They sell tickets through their own website and they are very profitable.

Finally, logic from the a supposed degreed manager. But he forgot the other benefit. If you take the effort to go to AA.com you obviously are a fan of and want to be on AA. The let's get out of the trailer park and off Greyhound flier can stay with the search engines. AA does not need thier hassles and plane trashing 10 oversized carry on having travel dollar. Business travel is revenue. The savy frequent traveler is the dollar you need to woo and keep.

Daily Horoscope for May 17

Leo

This is a day for enjoying yourself whenever you get the chance. It shouldn't be difficult because you'll engineer as many chances as possible! Friends and close relatives are especially good company right now. Ideally, you should forget all about work and responsibilities, and do something light-hearted and entertaining instead. If that isn't possible, arrange to do something nice when all the chores are out of the way.
