Does anyone have any idea what is behind the sharp drop in the price of Extendicare shares recently as the stock has dropped over 10% from over $13 per share to just over $9 at the time of writing? There have been no news releases from the company.

I was wondering the same thing. I've noticed that these shares do this frequently and suspect there is a lot of insider (i.e illegal) trading going on by people who know something the investing public does not.
