I read on facebook a girl named kristy was going to adopt him, something changed that, someone allegedly picked the dog up from the pound before she could get him. It looks to be a lot of chaos over this dog, but it also looks like Leslie Stevens is using him to gain media attention for her rescue, only because it was posted on facebook publically that the rescue was going to pay all of his bills, but Leslie is still asking for money to her personal rescue account. And its also been said she has no say so on what happens with the dogs n monticello because her shelter is in warren, that was on facebook not long ago for the animals being starved to death and living in filthy cages crowded. Maybe she should stay over there and mind her own business.

Hello, you obviously do not know me at all. I do not run nor am I over the Warren city shelter. I am the one who originally posted the dog's story upon request of a friend. At that time, we did not know where the dog would be going, whether it be to a rescue or adopter. So the donations were to be accepted to my rescue's PayPal. Upon being pulled by another rescue, that rescue's PayPal address was given. Also I provided the name and number of the vet clinic where the dog has been this week. Some people, because they dont know anyone in the receiving rescue, choose to donate to me because they know I keep my word and they know me personally. Any donations made to my rescue will be used to either pay the vet bill or go to the rescue, whichever they choose. All involved are convinced that going to a rescue was what was best for the dog. I'm sorry that you disagree, but before you say things that you don't know to be true and before you try to speak about rescue work, you should try it yourself. It's not about me not any other PERSON in rescue. It's all about the DOGS.
