Duplicate posting is a common problem w/Topix. it is very buggy & sometimes unstable.

Your eyeglazing mindnumbing blocked factoids are not read by me. I'm sure you do not care, however they are time consuming, not reader friendly & cannot be verified w/o source or link. The truthfullness of information is dubious.

What she is really saying is that she is too lazy to read your post, too ignorant to understand them and could you please just link to an anti-nuclear blog so it can tell her what to think.

Obviously telling it like it is. You really do need a better hobby.'Feelings hurt'? You of all ppl.

Since you're nothing but a mere troll you have no problem hurling insults ad nauseum & obviously do not care what the effects are.

One thing is certain, you have shown yourself to be extremely thin-skinned for someone who displays such obnoxious behavior.

Reformer will not post this link, it's an impartial poll taken by VPR. Has a question about VY:

Thanks for the info-it is interesting

When it comes to VY looks like the "Undecided" will make or break the issue.

I believe the decision to keep open and/or close VY should be left to the objective determination of the "scientist, regulators, health department, companies that insure the plants, etc. If a preponderance of the hard evidence, taken from both sides, shows the plant should be closed well so be it. However, if the preponderance of hard evidence taken from both sides, shows it should be kept open then so be it.

This is a serious decision, as I have indicated before in the forums on this topic, from an safety and economical perspective. THIS IS NOT A PARISIAN ISSUE AND SHOULD NOT BE TREATED AS ONE, IT IS SERIOUS ON MANY LEVELS. Politicians and the average person do not, nor can they totally grasp the issue in an objective and unemotional level.

"Poll Shows Vermont Yankee Influences Election Decisions"

"Vermont Public Radio, Tuesday, 10/19/10,
The poll shows that 76 percent of voters likely to vote for Democrat Steve Howard oppose extending Vermont Yankee's operating license past 2012. On the other hand, 57 percent of voters likely to support Republican Phil Scott support the continued operation of the Vernon reactor. The same poll showed that in the gubernatorial race 77 percent of voters likely to support Democrat Peter Shumlin said they want the plant to close. Meanwhile, 66 percent of the people planning on voting for Republican Brian Dubie want the plant to keep operating."

Oh yes, lets leave it to the bureaucrats. Funny, the coterie of ppl you think should be left to decide this are all in favor of relicensing. No surprises here!

'We the People' certainly should have no say, right?

I have news, that's not the way we do it in VT. VT legislature represents the residents, not Entergy & VY, they have lapdog Douglas, mascot O'Brien & true-blue bud Bill Irwin for that.

Governor, house & senate commissions its own experts who have *more* experience than *all* of those you mentioned. If you don't like it kindly vote w/your feet & leave!

It is what it is. What is done is done.

Well my dear looks like you win. Now you can sit back on your laurels and gloat. Break out the champagne. Now that it is decided, what are you going to do with the rest of your life?

As for me, well my partner and I are working on a book, that complies and discusses the comments in several of these forums. We will introduce the subject and then copy/quote the comments made. We will be sure to identify all commentators by signature name and note the locations. We want to be sure to give credit where credit is due.

Off now for a few days of R&R.

Polls do not decide elections, voters do. Remark was in response to another 'poll' which I also posted when it came out simply for information purposes.

Polls change b/c of the way questions are asked. Only those which use approved methods are scientifically accurate, which still doesn't mean shyt as *many* still report being undecided.

I do not gloat. I accept the will of the ppl even though many decisions have been made which I disagree with. I accept it as the democratic way as flawed as it may be.
