I am an employee of Dominion Peoples in Pennsylvania and I feel this is not a good thing for employees of Peoples Gas. We all hear so much about it's just business, but corporation have no interest in treating the customers, employees or anyone else with any since of decency. They think that unions are an antiquated tool used agaist their search for ever increasing profits to satisfy the grandiose aspirations of the top echelon of the food chain. They forget that the orderly union of individuals to improve working conditions for all involved in providing a quality product is the reason why these corporation can make outrageous payments of salaries and fringe benefits to the elite few at the top. Business is running our caountry at the detriment to a fair and equitable society where all people deserve to feel a part of this great experiment called America, which our elected officials and corporate America are selling to

We fully agree with Clarence Johnson -- we ALL deserve rights in this country, whether we have $2.00 in our pocket or $2 million. Under the Bush Admin., they have declared war on the middle class on down, a war of wages (lowering them for big business), to break the demands and the life style of working Americans. This is why they are flooding this country with illegal aliens. We MUST band together and stop this, or we will destroy our country as we have known it.

I think it is a very good deal for both companies. If it wasn't, they would not have agreed upon it. As far as how they treat their employees, if the treatment is unfair the company will suffer. I believe you need to have a little more faith in the free enterprise system that we live in.
