Obama talking points! What's wrong with the County? This is part of it.

If I don't have to show an ID to vote, then I don't have to tell the county where I live and that I owe taxes. As Fitz says, it's a freedom issue! Yep, a freedom issue. When they ask me for ID to cash my check, well I'm telling them to find Fitz and he can 'splain it. What kind of stupid are these people?

You obviously can't understand the difference between the exercise of a constitutional right that is fundamental to the operation of this representational democracy, and cashing a check as a mundane financial transaction, ya' old fool! Good gawd, old boy, get a grip, will ya'?

You can spin, twist and skew this issue any way you want, but, there's simply no way that requiring ID for our most basic fundamental right is wrong. If the Black Panthers are lobbying you, then I can understand, but, again, it makes no sense in anyone's world that you do not need ID to vote. You must register, you must show up, or ask for an absentee ballot (they ask you when you do that) what's wrong with making sure that it's the same person who registered is voting?

Stupid, stupid, stupid at every sense. And I know you're not stupid.

If it is created as to act in such a manner as to suppress voter participation, and particularly so in a partisan manner, and if there is no evidence that voter fraud exist save at the very worst case to a most minimal degree, and without partisan impact, then, yes, I do condemn the law, and the men who crafted it. To allow the old, the poor, and the minorities among us to be disenfranchised to promote partisan advantage is an abomination, and an affront to the American democracy.

Nobody is disenfranchising anyone. Simply show an ID that allows the poll worker to know that you actually are alive and the person that you represent yourself as. Should this be beyond your understanding and ability to grasp, then perhaps you shouldn't leave the house, ever. Vote by absentee, or is that time honored process too complicated as well?

Not "an" ID, old man, but primarily a government issued photo ID. That can require a birth certificate to secure, but if you're an old black American raised in parts of this country that actually chose not to record minority births at the time, that's not possible. And it takes time and money to secure such documents if you've moved over a lifetime, again, more likely if you were an older black. If you're poor, and don't drive to reach a state photo ID center, this may be all it takes to discourage you from voting. Funny this ID drive comes just a short time before the re-election of the first black President; interesting, indeed! And where is the evidence of any significant voter fraud, whatsoever to warrant the very real risks these UNPRECEDENTED requirements for voters?

This whole effort is unwarranted, suspect at best as to its motives, and accomplishes little save discourage old, poor and minority citizens to pursue their single most important right as Americans. Interesting also that it is partisan effort where ever it arises, an action of the far right elements of the GOP, and a naked attempt to steal an election!

And, of course, they all got their food stamps, their welfare, their medicaid, their cell phone, their section 8 house without ID. Yep, ID is a real hardship. Unless it keeps you fed, warm and healthy, then it's OK. The stupid is coming out again. There's no way you can continue to spin this one. Is there a Black Panther with a Holder approved club sitting on your stoop? Only thing that makes sense. As I said before you're not stupid.

Wow, getting a bit desperate, aren't we, old man; when called on your lies, you double down with the absurd!

You should be ashamed of yourself.
