I was in California very recently and the price of gasoline was less expensive. Go figure. Once again El Pasoans are getting screwd. When will the appropriate parties (elected local and state officials)take this matter seriously.

Here we sit in El Paso with a refinery in our back yard with the highest gas prices in TEXAS.
Come on Mr.Foster, instead of spending all that money on shopping malls and restoring old bulding, cut the price on gas so all of El Paso can benefit.

Well just for everybodys information, the gas prices are always higher in El Paso because, it's, I mean, well, you know it's.........ah. Well it's not price gouging in El Paso, for sure. But it's just that I can't explain why they are always LOWER in other cities, even across Texas. Went to Michigan. Gas prices LOWER than El Paso in Oklahoma, Missouri and Indiana. In Texas, gas prices LOWER than El Paso in Ft Worth, Abilene, Dallas, Austin, Round Rock, Corsicana, Lampasas, El Dorado and Iraan. So basically, gas prices in El Paso are always HIGHER than everywhere else, becasue WE are getting ripped off, like we get ripped -off for everything in El Paso; Taxes, fees, property evaulations, etc.

It's gentrification! If they raise the gas prices high enough we'll do the smart thing and move to Phoenix.(I don't know why Phoenix but it seems a lot of El Pasoans (mostly those from Central and LV) think of Phoenix as some kind of Mecca.

Silly Wabbits, do some travelling.

But Phoenix is a nice city. Hotter than hell in June to August, but nice anyway. Spend a couple days ther to and from Las Vegas. Tucson also nice, just not as big. Las Vegas, San Antonio and Austin my favorites.

Because no one in this city gives a crap! "Oh poor us..." Do something about it! "Oh, well I don't want to cause trouble oh poor me..."
Face it this city likes being the victim and then complaining. New businesses open in close in this city faster than you can blink. People go and check it out and then go "oh its so expensive..." They stop going the business closes and jobs are lost. This city is poor for a variety of socio-economic reasons, but it also has a poor mentality. Why do anything new with you rkids when you can rent a brinka brinka buy some Coors light and then everybodies happy!
Before you start blaming the state of the city from the top down start looking at it from the bottom up.

Seriously, if they built a state of the art entertainment park or facility it would be bankrupt in less than a year.

El Pasoans LOVE their misery. They can charge what they like because they know El Pasoans have never given a shyte and they never will.
