“With the rapid increase in crude oil drilling activity in the Bakken (Formation), there is a corresponding need for additional capacity to gather and process associated liquids-rich natural gas volumes,” said Veresen CEO Stephen White.

The Bakken more so that many other formations being drilled into today offers We the People freedom from relying on imported oil. In short that could be called internal Security.

Yet the Bakken has presented a huge problem for those working to develop those riches and it has been pipelines or refineries to sell their products.

The other problem is that a head butting of big horns in the oil and gas industry has taken the lead. Exxon Mobil BP and other large refineries do not have their root of works found in the Bakken. Thus to stall out the Bakken producers is in their best interest.

So now the potential giant rub comes when those having the big horns butt heads. Who has the biggest bucks to hire the best-entrenched lobbyist in Washington DC to get this proposed pipeline shut down? Yep that is what our nation has become even more so today than ever before. Now we are a nation of independent thinkers that can take a look at what is what and make a value decision then support that view. More so today than ever before but can We as a People get our voices heard? That becomes the next giant hill to climb.
