Emerson Electric CEO's pay rises slightly
Emerson Electric felt the recession as its 2009 profit dropped from a year earlier, and the electrical products manufacturer's CEO's pay was flat.

Don't forget this. In 2009 Emerson Electric terminated 14,000 employees and its CEO David Farr earned almost $6.9 million for the fiscal year that ended in September almost a 1 percent compensation increase.
